Future Trunks and Krillin soon arrive, and Imperfect Cell, now outnumbered, uses the Solar Flare (inherited from either Goku or the technique's coiner Tien) and escapes. They allow people to return to the area in which the stone is located after they faint during battle. During Super Buu's rampage, Demigra's Mirage uses his dark magic to take control of Piccolo and has him attack Goten and Trunks to alter history to free Demigra from the Crack of Time. Though Piccolo uses an assortment of new powerful techniques, Goku finds a way to make many of them work to his advantage. King Piccolo's Demon Clan is a Demon Clan led by the Demon King Piccolo and comprised of his children. Piccolo's final farewell to Gohan before he dies. While Gohan and Videl are away on business, Piccolo was tasked with babysitting Pan, who calls him "Piccoyo". In Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler, Piccolo, unlike Gohan, Krillin and Master Roshi is the only one to avoid capture at the hands of the Cyclopian Guards and is able to destroy an entire army of them with an explosive wave. Returning from his investigation, Piccolo informs Dende and their allies about Mira posing a threat to Earth. In Age 762, the Warrior joins the other Z Fighters in taking on Nappa and Vegeta. When Future Trunks gets involved with the fight after Vegeta receives a serious kick that breaks his arm, Piccolo also charges in, but both are quickly swatted down by Android 17. Vegeta is shocked because of his appearance then Piccolo says they tend to underestimate their opponents off of appearance. Piccolo thinks that Goku can only hurt Botamo if he goes all out but Vegeta doesn't think Goku should. Piccolo manages to find Goku before the tournament properly begins, and Piccolo reminds himself not to let Goku win, and he must avenge his father. He then manages to knock away Goku's Power Pole with a Finger Beam, after which he fires an Explosive Demon Wave at Goku, but Goku survives. After witnessing both Piccolo being heavily wounded, and Krillin being blown to pieces by Frieza, Goku finally had enough and unleashed his hidden Super Saiyan powers. Everyone gathers around and says their goodbyes. This made Krillin exclaim that Piccolo reached the Super Saiyan realm of strength, though Vegeta was dismissive of this. This makes Raditz ultimately ignore Piccolo in favor of his true target (whose power reading he had initially mistaken Piccolo's for due to their similar levels of progress), his younger brother Kakarot, who turned out to be Goku. Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, released in Japan as Dragon Ball: World's Greatest Adventure (ドラゴンボール天下一大冒険, Doragon Bōru Tenkaichi Daibōken), is a video game based on the anime and manga series Dragon Ball. In the anime version of the Universal Conflict Saga, Piccolo (with his weighted clothing on) is able to match Kamin in battle. It is implied that Piccolo is stronger than Goten and Trunks, as when Gotenks' fusion wears off inside Buu, Piccolo's traits become dominant - and it is said that Buu's strongest absorption victim is the one who he shows dominant traits of. The clan was comprised of Piccolo's spawnlings. King Piccolo (ピッコロ大魔王, Pikkoro Daimaō; lit. After Vegeta releases Moro's stolen energy back to its point of origin, Piccolo tells Goku that he can not get over how much Vegeta has grown as a human being, having gone from once invading Earth to now saving the Universe. He transforms into his Great Namekian form and fights Tekka's Team as a boss, but is defeated. Penne then charges toward Piccolo and uses her Mystic Attack in an attempt to grab him only to grab his cape. Goku luckily dodges, but Piccolo is less fortunate, with his left arm being lost by disintegration. Along with being extremely evil, Piccolo is also very arrogant, believing himself to be the most powerful being in the universe, and up until he was defeated by Goku, he was one hundred percent convinced that there was no one out there who could exceed his power. As he moves in to finish him off, Piccolo notices the pieces of Majin Buu moving. During the Baby Saga, Piccolo is referred to as the mightiest Namekian by Baby - and a suitable opponent to test Super Saiyan Gohan's power on. Vegeta then kicks Goku out of the battle and Piccolo catches him, setting him down so Yamcha can take him home and give him the heart medicine that Future Trunks gave them. Five years later when Baby arrives the Earth, Piccolo is the first one who detects the evil presence of the Neo Machine Mutant Tuffle, known as Baby, after he possesses the body and mind of Goten. He and Gohan meet with Tien, Krillin and Roshi and see Frieza and his army of 1,000 soldiers. He than easily evaded a sneak attack from Napapa, blocking the large foe's assault with a single hand before eliminating him. Goku refers to the technique as Forced Spirit Fission and Vegeta pauses his battle momentarily to tell Piccolo that he could extract the Namekians that he had combined with long ago. Tambourine quickly goes about the task, his first victim being Krillin. After removing them, Piccolo proved able to fight on par against the Universe 6 Emperor, dragging out the fight until both fighters were left winded, making Frost resort again to using his needle. By using his ability to change his size, Piccolo is able to emulate the Makyan Gigantification form to increase his power, and then improves upon it by avoiding the decrease in speed that Makyan's experience, using this form Piccolo gains an advantage over Garlic Jr. in the same form. At over eight feet tall, King Piccolo is by far one of the tallest and largest of the villains in the original Dragon Ball series, towering over all his opponents, including Master Mutaito, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan, and Goku. The Warrior is successful, but they discover that Turles and Lord Slug are near the Dragon Balls and is called back as soon as Nail informs Frieza that he had been stalling. May 9th, Age 753 — "Prelude to Vengeance", King Piccolo Prum then bombards the entire area with Ki Blasts, cutting off Gohan and Piccolo. Piccolo is later freed and Demigra's Mirage leaves while Demigra maintains control over Dark Super Buu, which Gotenks and the Warrior manage to work together until Ultimate Gohan arrives. His main outfit, without the robe and cape, is an indigo Asian martial arts uniform, with a light purple obi. Master Roshi and Master Shen could not as much as lay a finger on Piccolo, and Mutaito soon steps in but is himself outclassed and left to die by Piccolo. It is revealed that in the past King Piccolo lived in Isuri's Lake area where he had created a throne which remained there long after his death. He was said to be able to destroy an entire city with his strongest attack and claimed that he could destroy an entire sector of the world in the blink of an eye (with the world split into 43 sections).[6]. Piccolo demands for Goku to buy him extra time to charge the technique, but states the wait will be worth it. When Goku returns to teleport both Piccolo and the boy away, Piccolo gives him the energy he needs to do so, but decides to remain behind. Rather than all-out destroy civilization like he did the first time, he instead overthrows King Furry, after searching for him (killing many of Furry's guards in the process), to become the ruler of the Earth. Demon King (self-proclaimed)King of Earth (briefly) A few hours later, Master Roshi challenges King Piccolo (using the remaining five Dragon Balls as a lure), attempting to trap him using the Evil Containment Wave. Once reunited, all remaining traces of evil disappeared from Piccolo. In World Mission, this form is called Brainwashed and appears as one of Piccolo's playable forms. Dabura quickly kills Kibito and spits on Krillin and Piccolo, turning them both into stone statues. Piccolo confronts Frost, he takes his weighted clothing off and prepares to fight. After fusing with Nail and acquiring all his knowledge of Namekian culture, Piccolo felt whole as a person, now able to understand his roots. In a special mission in Dragon Ball Z: Scouter Battle Taikan Kamehameha - Ora to Omee to Scouter, Piccolo Jr's power level is 500,000,000. No respect...for the superior species." Since the Dragon world is split into 43 sections, King Piccolo decides that for every year on the day he conquered over King Furry, he will personally destroy each one of these sections until there is nothing but dust. Piccolo surprised at Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks. Piccolo let Gohan fight Botamo, while he was watching. Later when Gohan and Goku arrive to inform Piccolo about the tournament, he accepts and offers to get Gohan back into shape to restore his fighting instincts on Goku's behalf. A year later, Piccolo figures out that Goku is stuck in Hell and he starts blasting Heaven, so that King Yemma is forced to send him to Hell. While at The Lookout, Piccolo and Dende both sense something terrible happening on New Namek. Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone Despair sets in on the group as they realize that there's little they can do to oppose such powerful foes. With his new power, in the anime, Piccolo is able to hold his own against and even hurt the Cell Juniors (who were said to have power similar to the suppressed Perfect Cell in the English dub). This may have been a vague way of implying King Piccolo had used. Piccolo holds little gratitude for this act though and promises to continue his quest to destroy Goku and take over the world someday before leaving the tournament. When Jaco is informed by HQ that three of Moro's minions, Seven-Three, Shimorekka and Yunba are heading for Earth, Piccolo asks Jaco what they need to know about them and he is told of Seven-Three's ability to steal other peoples powers for half an hour. Piccolo contacts Gohan (via King Kai's telepathy) and demands he be resurrected with the first wish, be sent to Namek to battle Frieza with the second, and then Gohan could do whatever with the last wish. Because Future Zamasu's now immortal thanks to Super Dragon Ball in his timeline and destroyed it, Piccolo suggests Goku use Evil Containment Wave to seal one of them to prevent them from teaming up. Piccolo however lacks the power to stop Gamelan and Dark Namekians plans. He observed as Super Vegeta first defeated Semi-Perfect Cell and then allowed him to absorb Android 18 and attain his Perfect form. Piccolo during his battle with Android 17. After fusing with King Piccolo, Piccolo's power is stated to be far above Majin Buu and somewhat above regular Super Buu although Piccolo states after fighting with Super Buu that while stronger he doesn't have the power to destroy him and Buu isn't capable of destroying him either. After a long fight, Goku is left severely beaten and near death, with King Piccolo's Makosen stopping Goku's heart momentarily. After the Androids explain that they have been watching Goku since he defeated the Red Ribbon Army up until his battle with Vegeta, Goku attacks Android 19. Piccolo is shocked to see that Goku thought of pushing Botamo down and throwing him out the ring but he didn't think of that tactic. Death Date(s) Regardless, Kami is not opposed to the idea of fusing with Piccolo, but he wants to observe the situation for a while longer to be sure that his last decision is made for valid reasons. In both the manga and anime Piccolo was able to knock Gamisalas out of the arena with a single energy wave after locating him. In a filler episode in the anime, when both of them are forced by Goku's wife Chi-Chi to go to driving school, Piccolo wears an old outfit of Goku's, which he despised wearing.[8]. Piccolo is eventually healed by Dende and he and the others return to the battlefield during the final battle between Goku and Moro. Even after all his training, Piccolo was unable to to land any serious damage against Nappa, even with help from Krillin and Gohan. Due to his status as someone dead, he's decided to be sure that none of the residents of Hell are able to escape again. Piccolo, carrying the children, then retreats with Krillin until they witness an enormous explosion that Vegeta fueled despite all this, in an attempt to protect Bulma and Trunks, and "even Kakarot". Before Future Trunks and Mai leave to the new timeline created by Whis, Piccolo and Gohan arrive to say goodbye. Piccolo created several offspring and watched as they terrorized and killed helpless citizens and destroyed the cities they lived in but stepped in himself later on, after his sons were killed by Master Mutaito's pupils, including a young Master Roshi and a young Master Shen who were the only two who survived. Additionally increase attacked enemy CI (Charge Impact) speed & -2 Hero Energy to enemy team when performing a Super Attack. Piccolo Jr. is the reincarnation of his father King Piccolo - who himself was once a part of the Nameless Namek - who fought a war over Earth only to be eventually killed by Goku. Being the concentrated evil that lived within the Nameless Namekian, King Piccolo's personality is the exact opposite of his good counterpart, Kami; as he is presented as a cold, ruthless, sadistic, and power-hungry villain with little to no sense of compassion whatsoever. Future Trunks returns from his timeline, Piccolo goes to Capsule Corporation to see what happening. Additionally while fighting Piccolo Junior in Hero's body, Kami told Piccolo Junior that King Piccolo was "always the weaker half" indicating he was superior to King Piccolo though their Life Link prevented Kami from killing him as doing so would result in Kami's own death. Ten years after Kid Buu's defeat, Piccolo attends the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament and witness the emergence of Uub, the good, human reincarnation of Kid Buu. Originally, Piccolo inherited his father/former self's desire for world domination and destroying Goku. Just as Goku predicted, Majin Buu goes on a rampage and targets the remaining Earthlings on the planet. Krillin even managed to score a hit, but missed Piccolo using a Kamehameha blast, as Piccolo had used an afterimage trick, and managed to knock Krillin back to the ground. Goku then realizes that he forgot the Four-Star Dragon Ball and his Power Pole at the Stadium, so Krillin goes back to retrieve them. "This is our family cat, “Koge”. Piccolo continues investigating unusual circumstances on Earth, discovering the forces of the Red Pants Army, Paella Gang, Frieza Force remnants, & Time Breakers. "The Fist of Son Goku" He has demonstrated on many occasions that he is willing to do anything to accomplish his goals, regardless of how many innocent lives need to be taken in the process. During the "Extra Edition 4" chapter, Piccolo makes a brief appearance as Goku and Vegeta recount and explain to Merus and Jaco their encounter and battle against Broly during the Broly Saga. He then notices Gohan in trouble and rushes to help but letting his guard down, he is grabbed from underground by Angila but blasts him off before being taken out by Angila and Medamatcha by shielding Gohan from harm. Others include: Oolong, Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, then Vegeta, Androids 16, 17 and 18, Majin Buu, and finally, Piccolo was the youngest villain in the series, being only three years old when he fought Goku (despite having the physical and mental maturity of a teenager). Also despite being evil, he shows compassion to his kids, having a panic attack when they are killed (except Drum), however he insults them when he sees they are destroyed by Goku but quickly understands their demise at his hands, when Goku kills him (as seen in the Volume 12 of the manga). Piccolo had to cope with Kami, his counterpart, sometimes getting hurt or tired, which in turn affected Piccolo during his battles. He fights with Krillin and Gohan against the Cyclopian Guards, initially unable to harm them until he realises to focus all of his energy into one point. When Piccolo gets back up, he charges at Android 17 who is choking Tien; when he reaches Android 17, he is felled with a single blow to the stomach that nearly tears through him. This also truly cemented his change from evil to good and a true friend and team-mate for the Z Fighters. "Lost and Found" Frost's third form makes him remember all of the negative attributes of Frieza and the events that occurred on Planet Namek. After being defeated by the hero's new power, Piccolo reveals his earlier escape from Baby, and that he was looking for the one responsible for the chaos too. The EX-Fusion between Piccolo and Krillin who appears in Dragon Ball Fusions. On Frieza's order, Sorbet sends his soldiers after Earth's defenders, Piccolo fights a horde of them and defeats them. He also came to view Goku in a similar light as a dear friend and ally as after being teleported from the self-destructing Planet Namek and learning of Goku's intentions, Piccolo noted he would have preferred to fight alongside the noble warrior to the end, showing his respect for the Earth's savior. Goku and Piccolo join forces to fight Raditz. Piccolo witnesses Kale's rampage, with him noting that Kale cannot control her power. Although he still has little to say unless it involves battle and does not seem to understand the concept of romance, referring to it as "mushy stuff", although this is understandable since Namekians lack romantic relations. When the boys wake up, Goku and Piccolo tell them about Vegeta and Gohan's apparent deaths at Majin Buu's hand and that they need to learn Fusion so they can avenge them. He battles against the large Wings and makes a mockery of him, gaining the upper hand, he is offered to join Lord Slug, claiming that they are both of the same demon clan, but Piccolo refuses and blasts his head off. Vegeta confirms this by asking if he will see Kakarot (Goku's original Saiyan name) in the afterlife and Piccolo states he will not, because Vegeta has committed too many evil actions before joining the Z Fighters to be on the same plane as Goku and he will instead be reincarnated, after his spirit is purified. The bug-like creature claims that he is Piccolo's "brother", which shocks Piccolo, and the two engage in battle. When Goku dies shortly afterwards his body mysteriously vanishes, with Piccolo confirming Kami's intervention. When he descends to Vegeta, Vegeta asks Piccolo to take the children far from the battle site. A state taken on by Piccolo when he is under the control of Dr. Kochin and Dr. Wheelo, in this form Piccolo wears a gold device on his head and his eyes turn red. Piccolo is the most powerful Namekian in Universe 7 and Universe 6, with Grand Elder Guru remarking him (or rather his original self the Nameless Namekian) to be a prodigy amongst prodigies, and even strong enough to stand up to Super Saiyans. By Age 990, Piccolo and Dende are forced to watch as the Earth's peace deteriorates; various villainous organizations emerge including the surviving Frieza Force remnants, a new incarnation of the Red Ribbon Army called the Red Pants Army founded a year later, and a new incarnation of the Pilaf Gang lead by Pilaf's descendant Paella, as a result of the turmoil surrounding the monstrous wild animals and demonic beasts roaming the Earth. During his flight, he passes over a dying Namekian, Nail, who was earlier easily mauled by Frieza. Eventually, Percel solves everything and the damage is fixed with the Namekian Dragon Balls. Unfortunately, Vegeta's advantage does not last for long when Moro achieves greater power after absorbing Seven-Three. In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, it is a transformation called True Namekian Fusion. Piccolo's hobby is meditating in quiet places. In Dragon Ball Super, Piccolo is easily defeated by the God of Destruction, Beerus, with a kiai. Piccolo also stands silent during the arrival of Zeno. In the manga version of the Tournament of Power, Piccolo proved able to effortlessly defeat Dyrasem with a simple energy blast. Piccolo was able to briefly fight on par with Saonel, and was able to blast him away with a ki blast when Gohan caught his hand. Piccolo tries to attack Tagoma with his efforts, but he isn't strong enough to match Tagoma. When the twelve Gods of Destruction show up in search of Tokitoki and threaten to destroy them all, Piccolo joins the others in preparation to face Beerus but when Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta intervene to tell them it's pointless and point towards the Universe Tree engulfing the Earth the battle is put off.
